Exhibitions

The Museum generates insight from its permanent collections by complementing it with contemporary art, external collections (where meaningful and relevant), and collaborations with institutions, researchers and artists, informed by the museological and curatorial perspectives. Exhibitions are thus conceptualised and spatially planned as part of a larger idea or experience where permanent and temporary exhibitions dialogues with one another.

Temporary exhibitions are often developed in collaboration with partner institutions, researchers and artists in the region. Past and current partners include the National Arts Council, Asia Research Institute of NUS, National Heritage Board, Vargas Museum University of Philippines and the Embassy of France in Singapore.
