Excursions

Programmes and activities that connect creative discourse to urban and rural environments are frequently supported with guided tours hosted by collaborators or the curatorial team. Excursions have taken groups to less-developed spaces to look at the intersection of natural environments and human habitation and reclamation.

Past Highlight

prep-room DRILLS | The Buaya Trail (2018)

Held in conjunction with the prep-room project, Buaya: The Making of a Non-Myth, The Buaya Trail was a guided bus tour with conservators Kate Pocklington and nature guide Ivan Kwan. The five-hour journey brought visitors from the south of Singapore to the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, combining a biodiversity tour with mapping encounters with crocodiles as elucidated in the prep-room.
