The Dato’ Parameswaran Collection of Wartime Art from Vietnam (1954 - 1975)

This publication is a compendium of the research and exhibitions that have been made possible through the long-term loan of a collection of Vietnamese Wartime Art from the late Dato’ N Parameswaran (1948-2022). The collection comprises 1230 works of art from the period of Vietnam’s long struggle for independence, from the war for independence from the French, to the fight against the Americans. The works therein give us a glimpse into the period and the lives of the soldiers who participated in it. This volume also features essays and programmes from the previous exhibitions of this collection undertaken by the NUS Museum.
